Kite Aerial Photography (KAP)

This page is a record of my ongoing attempts to do better at kite aerial photography. The first few attempts were somewhat crude, but the results were still pretty cool to look at. You can tell what I mean by crude, when you see how I had the camera harnessed for each of the flights noted.

The next step is to build a picavet suspension for better camera stability and flexibility of camera orientation. The picavet is commonly used by Kite Aerial Photography enthusiasts everywhere !

My kite is a 5 foot double box delta with 450 feet of braided dacron line - 80 pound test ...
